Area 05 Steering Committee,

Please join us for the first Area 05 Steering Committee Meeting of the panel this Saturday, March 22nd from 9 am to 11am.

Committee Chairs, please prepare a brief report to present to the group to update everyone on how your committee is doing.  If nobody from your committee is able to be present, please let me know.

A draft agenda for the 2025 Spring Area Assembly will be sent shortly for your review.  We will be discussing it together at the meeting, and you will have a chance to offer your feedback and suggestions.

1. Area Steering Committee Meetings

1. The business of the Area Steering Committee includes:
   a. Providing input for Area Assembly agendas;
   b. Providing guidance and support to Area Committees and other Area activities;
   c. Informing Area Officers and Committee Chairs of each committee’s activities.
2. Those eligible to vote and make motions at Area Steering Committee meetings are Area Standing and Ad-hoc Committee Chairs, or, in their absence, their alternates, and Area Officers.

Please note that while the meeting only requires mandatory participation from Officers and Committee Chairs, Alternate Committee Chairs, any other interested AA members may attend.

1. Sesiones del Comité de Servicio del Área.

1. Los negocios del Comité de Servicio incluyen:
   a. Provee información para la agenda de la Asamblea de Área;
   b. Proveer guía y ayuda a los Comités del Área y otras actividades del Área;
   c. Informar a los Oficiales de Área y Coordinadores de Comités de las actividades de cada actividad de Comités.
2. Los elegibles para votar y mocionar en el Comité de Servicio del Área son MCD’s, CMCD’s, Coordinadores de Comités Permanentes y Comités Ad-hoc, Oficiales del Área o en su ausencia sus alternos y Delegados Pasados.

Tenga en cuenta que, si bien la reunión solo requiere la participación obligatoria de los oficiales, coordinadores de comités y coordinadores alternos de comités, cualquier otro miembro de AA interesado puede asistir.
